A really nice bathroom light/fan that doesn't look or sound like one.
I put this exact item (from one of the big box stores) in a bathroom about 8 or 9 years ago, replacing a cheap and noisy Broan 'builder spec' fan and the Hunter still looks and works great, very, very quiet and high volume airflow, and you never even realize it's an exhaust fan by the appearance. I've recently been looking for the same thing (or similar) for a laundry room/half bath that the builder stupidly didn't put a fan in at all, but neither big box store carries it, and the ones they do carry are ugly or junk. I was so excited to find it here (yeah, I know, it doesn't take much to get me pumped...) that I ordered it immediately. It arrived and appears to be in great shape, and will be installing it as soon as attic temps drop below 120. Way too hot for October, dang it!

Used this to replace an older model vent that was similar.
Used the motor and lamp mount to replace an older similar version I purchased at Lowes many years ago. The original vent box was the same. Minor modifications to the bulb mount. Motor mount the same.

Perfect Replacement
This replaced a bathroom fan in my basement that had died. The original was no longer available, and I bought this one because the housing dimensions looked the same, hoping to save myself a significant amount of drywall work. When it got here, not only was the housing the same size, but it was EXACTLY the same, with the exact same replacement fan!! The only difference was that the lighting fixture looked nicer than the old one. Replacement was a breeze, because I didn't have to replace the housing! Saved myself a full day's worth of work!

Look nice. A little difficult to install
These look nice but beware if you're not pretty handy. The box was much smaller than my old one and it left a big gap that has to either be patched with drywall or you have to cover it some other way. Also, the area that you have to do your wiring is very tight. It is very difficult to fit all the wires in it. Yiu generally have 2 romex wires coming in, 1 from fan switch, 1 from light switch. Romex is very stuff and was very frustrating to get into the area reserved for the wiring. This is bad because you can possibly damage insulation on the wire trying to force it in. Be careful.

Love it
I love this. I wanted a combo light/fan that was stylish but could do the job well. This one is both. My brother installed it within a matter of 20-30 minutes. People can’t believe it’s also a fan because the fan is hidden by the glass dome. It lights up my bathroom well. I have the fan and the light in separate switches. Fan is always on when the shower is running and even after the shower to help remove moisture in the air. It does a great job. I am really grateful for this product. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Great look
We did a shower room remodel and this floods my room with light, not to bright! The fan is quiet. The fixture is beautiful and the right size. The finials are true to what is represented. I used the oil rubbed bronze finial. It was easy to put up, took about 30 minutes. I like this fixture so much I am purchasing 2 more. I have all Hunter fans and this is a brand I know I can trust.

Reputation for motor failure. Looks pretty good though. Not much quieter than a fan based unit.
I only bought this because the same one that was already in my home failed and I needed a new motor. In trying to get a new motor I discovered that the geniuses who made this model in particular used a motor which is seemingly unobtainable thru any of the usual sources. Even though 90% of fans available now use a smaller motor which is easily found. While searching I found that these have a reputation for motor failure. So, I definitely wouldnt buy one of these for a new installation. I finally gave up and bought this one just for its motor, and only because it was a warehouse deal. It being on sale made it way cheaper than replacing the fan with a reputable model. using the motor from this one meant that I didnt have to replace the existing housing and duct. Shoulld be ok for 2-5 years, when Ill have moved again so thats a problem for future renters!

Excellente`
I was shocked that I found the exact replacement of ceiling vent/light/fan for my bathroom after having it for 15 years! I can’t tell you how happy I am to not have to do a full installation. Everything was the same; I only had to change the motor unit out. Even the lampshade was the same size, but a different design, which I use, because it looks better than the old one.
