Fastcap Kaizen Foam 57mm (2-1/4") Black

The material is really easy to cut and makes much sense that you can peel off the layers to create the depth you need. However, the layers between them are glued together and it is not hard to create a nice flat surface. Still, this foam made my life a lot easier

I watched the video and tried my best to remove the insert after cutting out a shape as they instruct. Cutting out a shape is easy, but it's impossible to get a flat surface on the bottom. It looks shredded and uneven. The layers don't separate clearly and easily at all. I tried three times and gave up.

Great layered foam - use it to make Bosch LBOXX inserts. One 2x4 sheet makes nicely for six LBOXX inserts (each insert 40cm x 30.5 cm as per LBOXX-2 internal dimensions). No trouble cutting or separating layers as some people have experienced. Mine is black layers only and they separate just fine.

The product is much easier to separate layers when warm. I tried outside on a cool day, and it didn't separate as easily when it was warmer.I've used knives, and a Dremel to do most of the contouring. This works great.
