SUPCASE Unicorn Beetle Pro Series Case for iPhone 12 Pro Max (2020 Release) 6.7 Inch, Built-in Screen Protector Full-Body Rugged Holster Case(Black)

I have been using the Supcase's Unicorn Beatle rugged case ever since I had an iPhone 5. I like it better than the Otterbox defender, and of course it is much less expensive. I drop my phone at least twice a day, and have yet to have one break or scratch any of my phones. I've dropped a phone off of my roof onto my driveway, I've dropped a phone down the stairs, and I've even run over a phone with my Honda CR-V, and none of the phones had any damage. The case cracked when it was run over, but I call that a win in my book.I was very worried when I read that a lot of people were having trouble charging wirelessly with this particular model for the iPhone 12 Pro Max. However, I have two different wireless chargers and both work fine. One is a round no name brand model I picked up on the clearance rack at Wal-Mart, and the other is the Fastpad Ultra Slim Qi Wireless Charger. I have a Pro Clip vehicle mount (by far the best and most stable mount there is) and I was able to use carpet tape (very strong and thin double sided tape) to tape it to the holder because there is some space in the holder behind where the phone slides in. When I slide the phone in, it just touches the Fastpad, and charges wirelessly. I ran the wires behind my dash and into my center console so you can't see them at all. It charges well, looks great, and the Pro-Clip is rock solid. I can go over a speed bump or train tracks at higher than I should speeds, and the pro-clip doesn't move a hair's length. Each one has two parts, one is specific to each car model and the other to the phone. You have to make sure if you are using a case that you choose the correct mount for the case's specifications. I have used the same one since the first large iPhone which I believe was either the 6 or 7 plus.The only thing that I have done with every case is take off the plastic screen protector, and put on a tempered glass screen protector. You have to make sure you get one that is larger or full screen because the ones that just cover the portion of the glass that lights up, will not completely fit underneath the top insert of the case. What happens then is that the sides of the case push against the sides of the screen protector and cause it to bubble or come up along the edges. For the 12 Pro Max, the screen protectors I have used are the QHOHQ tempered glass protector, or the Casekoo tempered glass screen protector. The Casekoo is more expensive than I am used to paying for a screen protector, but is built like a tank, and has a plastic housing guide that is better than any other I've used before. The QHOHQ is also very good, and you can get them with rear camera protectors as well.In summary, the Supcase Unicorn Beatle is the best case I have used, and I don't see myself changing to another unless they really drop the ball - which they haven't yet. The price is extremely low for the quality of the case, although the plastic screen protector it comes with is not my cup of tea. I have not experienced the problem with the 12 Pro Max not connecting to wireless chargers, but if I did, I would probably just remove the kickstand.Pros:- Extremely tough "rugged" style case- Looks good and comes with different color options- Has a kickstand for those who use them, I personally don'tCons:- Some have had issues connecting to wireless charges, although I have not- Plastic screen protector is leaves something to be desired. I've noticed that they have seemed to have made it easier to remove and not leave the glue behind on the case. On earlier models it would take forever to get all the left over stuck on pieces of glue off

I've been using this phone case for 2 years now. Dropped my phone by accident countless times and this thing is legit indestructible. The durability of the case itself will protect your phone to the point where you can intentionally drop it and suffer no damage.A plus size to this phone case is the built in screen protector but a caveat to this product is that the screen protector will not last as long as the case.A little anecdote I can say about the case is that when I would shower with hot enough water where steam would come up, moisture would find its way into the screen area of the phone case. Overtime as well the screen protectors corners eventually started to wear down after a year in of use and abuse.Overall, this may not apply to everyone but without the purchase of this phone case, I would not have a phone to begin with since it would have been long broken by now. And although I said that after a year of use the screen protector saw some damage, I simply just bought the same phone case better than ever. A whole lot cheaper than buying a new phone that's for sure. This phone case is one of those cases where I had to go out of my way to praise it despite not writing reviews because it has really saved my phones life from hundreds of falls. I'm not even worried when my phone does fall since it happens so often with me unfortunately but I know it tanks that so great product. Love it.

I’ll break this down for those who are having a problem finding honest reviews.Touch screen -the touch screen is honestly one of the closest fitted touch screens I’ve ever found on a case, it doesn’t even feel like there’s one on this case. Typing and screen use work flawlessly with the screen protector.Wireless charging -I’m not sure why people are having an issue with wireless charging. I assume they have 5w wireless chargers, and at that point why even have a wireless charger, it would take 20 hours to charge your phone. I have not had a single problem using my wireless charger with this case on.Durability -This case feels really good, and it doesn’t feel cheap. It’s very smooth to the touch. I’ve dropped my phone several times in this case on both hard wood and concrete, maybe I got lucky but there’s been zero damage to neither case or phone.Camera protection -The case does indeed stick out past the camera so it should stay relatively safe from damage.Screen protection -This case comes with a built in screen protector, not only that but the case has also been raised past the screen.Side buttons -The physical buttons on the side of the phone feel great, I don’t have to break my fingers trying to click them. And they also have a nice click to them.Final thoughts -This phone case is well designed,I’m extremely picky about my cases due to factory work. I need a case that is durable and that will keep my phone safe. It also comes with a phone clip so you can clip it to your belt or pocket. 10/10 for me. Love the case.

The small piece on the end of the stand that you use to open it broke off after 5 months of use so now difficult to open.

I had been a long time user of another major brand… this was my first attempt at a different brand. Last week I was riding my motorcycle when I suddenly lost my phone and holster off my belt. There was a car that ran it over before they could avoid it. There’s some scrapes and road rash across the case, and the camera protector shattered. Although the back of the phone is pretty cracked, it still works and the screen was undamaged. Definitely the most rugged and durable case I have used and will continue to use! Highly recommend!
