Q: Is this a real porter cable battery or or an imitation? i've seen several imitations out there which is why i was wondering.

This is a real OEM part. Meaning that it is a true Porter Cable part. It is wth the money. It holds a charge longer that other comparable batteries of same voltage. I used porter cable exclusively now

Q: Does this battery work with Sears Bolt-On systems? It seems like the same form factor, the same charger, and everything...

The bolt-on, B&D and Porter Cable all are on the same platform EXCEPT the bolt on and B&D have a plastic notch on one side where Porter Cable has the plastic notch on the other.30 seconds with a dremel and you are in business.The charger has a tiny little tab too that needs to be removed so it can charge either.I have B&D 20v Max weed eaters and Porter Cable 20v Max drill/drivers. All my batteries are interchangeable.

Q: What shipping method is used? the last few orders i've placed haven't been delivered by ups and fedex. priority mail always delivers though.

I ship USPS and it will go out the same day or next day.

Q: what is the input voltage?

I'm looking at the battery now, and it says "PCC685L 20V MAX, 80Wh, 4.0Ah Battery Pack". There is no input voltage listed on the battery. I hope this helps.
