Q: I thought this came as a kit with pot n soil.

No it doesn't, I thought so too the description wasn't clear on that and I just assumed it did. I purchased 2 different varieties from this seller and planted them 2 weeks ago. The Apple Bloom is a healthy bulb and is growing well already reaching 12 inches high, the other Amaryllis is getting ready to get it's 4th bloom. I think the bulb quality is great though.
