Do you get items and think who wrote these instructions? That's how I felt with this product. I missed it when I first purchased the item that you would need a 5v 2a plug in. I bought this one for $10.99...DC in 5V Power Cord, POWSEED 5V 2A AC Adapter 10W Power Adapter Charger. A micro B/USB cord is included with the splitter and would work well if you have a 5v plug in that accepts a USB plug (I think I saw one on Amazon but may have been a few more $$ then the plug I bought). You'll need to plug one of your displayport adapters from the input port to your computer. You can then hook up to three monitors to the 3 output ports. One of my cords had an HDMI on one end and displayport on the other. Worked perfectly. For $70 (I opted the cheaper route versus paying $100 plus for the named brand similar device). I only gave it 4 stars for the poorly written instructions and the fact that they couldn't include the 5v adapter (like it costs so much to include it!) I attached instructions I found on a different site. They are a tad bit better then the one provided.

Needed something that would be able to utilize a dual or triple monitor setup, with each monitor having a DIFFERENT view, not the SAME view. Returned and received 100% refund.
