Q: would it work on fabric to attach two pieces till sown?

No only paper as it relies on stiffness of paper for the interlocking action (crimping) to hold two sheets of paper together. I find this row of 10 tiny crimp holes works well and better than other versions of stapleless joining which punch a single larger hole and interlock. This does a very neat join on upto 5 sheets of standard 80gsm office printer paper. Surprisingly strong on such paper and stands up to general filing handling but can be parted leaving both sheets with a row of 10 tiny little holes 1mm apart. Not so robust a join on thin thermal printed shopping receipt paper but still works. I have three different stapleless tools and this is the best so far.

Q: Can this do more than 5 sheets of paper?

No, 5 sheets is on the edge of your limits! It's a great product for what it does, but while it might hold five or more sheets while sitting' gently' on your desk, as soon as you start handling them, the pages will separate. I'd be confident up to 5 sheets, but probably not more.

Q: how many pages can it do in one use ?

Binding number describes it. It's about 5 sheets of PPC paper.
